Our company has more than 25 years experience in the production of flexible packaging films. Today the main activity involves the production of special hi-tec stretch film, made in polyethylene (LLDPE), for packaging of palletized units. During the last decade, in a program of research and innovation, the company has deposited 15 new patents.
These patents are for new products and technologies involving a process of multilamination two or more polyethylene stretch films of different thicknesses, with or without a previous prestretch. The multilaminated films, (range of films Plypack ® and Green Skin ®) appropriately selected and adapted, hold mechanical properties in some case upward of 100% in comparison to films actually available on the market. For the end-user a sensible reduction on packaging costs can be achieved. This innovation is furthermore a contribution to the European and international directives on the reduction of packaging weight and waste.
